Library Street Collective’s two-person presentation at Season Fair in Detroit features new work by Basil Kincaid and Mario Moore from September 11—13, 2026. Kincaid presents new abstract, glitched embroideries alongside a group of works on paper first shown in his 2025 solo exhibition Positive Obsession at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. Paired with Moore’s figurative paintings, the two bodies of work open up an unexpected dialogue, with the figurative pieces serving as a bridge between them. Moore’s new paintings explore different dimensions of home, safety, and self-possession, moving between history, knowledge, and rest.
