Library Street Collective

Since its inception in 2012, Library Street Collective has presented exhibitions and programming that connect Detroit to the international art world while maintaining crucial support to the local creative community.

A central aspect of Library Street Collective’s efforts involves raising awareness and funds for nonprofits and other worthy causes, with special attention paid to those based in Detroit. Gallery projects extend beyond our walls into the city’s public, private and heritage spaces.

Our scope has rapidly evolved to include exhibitions, collaborations and partnerships with major museums, as well as large-scale public projects and experiential installations that inspire participation from Detroit residents and visitors alike.
