WAITING is a 17-foot bronze interpretation of KAWS’ famous COMPANION character. WAITING stands tall outside One Campus Martius and marks the first placement of this new design: a parent and child in a moment of pause, composed of over 2 tons of bronze with black patina finish. The prominent placement in front of One Campus Martius, adjacent to Campus Martius Park will ensure this piece will become a Detroit landmark for residents and visitors alike.⠀
